Title: Introduction to Proposal Writing

Description:  This class will provide nonprofit grant seekers with an overview of how to write a 

standard project proposal to a foundation. Learn the basic elements of a proposal; the “do’s and don’ts” of writing and submitting a proposal and how to follow up whether the answer is yes or no.  Presented by Lori Guidry, Network Engagement Manager-West Candid.

Title: Search Strategies in FDO:  Arts, Culture and Recreation 

Date: Wednesday, March 31 

Time: 9:30 AM-10:30 AM 

Description: The goal of this session is to bring together folks working on projects related to the arts, cultural awareness, historical activities, parks and community spaces. Using suggestions from participants, you will learn how to use the Advance Search feature in Foundation Directory Online to maximize results to develop a list of prospective funders.
